Today is my little cousin birthday. Happy 15th Birthday Jamiya! Yesterday was her father birthday. Her daddy dead christmas eve some years ago. She was very close to her daddy. So around this time of year it is hurtful for her. Instead of her enjoying your birthday, she is sad thinking about her dad. Her dad was shot. people kill other people not thinking what it will do to other people. Now, she has to grow up without her father. She should be enjoying this time of year, but she is sad. I wish people would think of what they are doing before they do things. That is my big baby on the right and her best friend on the left.

ReplyDeleteI love the photos you have posted throughout the term. You put me to shame because I have not posted more photos. I do post on Face book and then I forget about my blog. Faculty are not obligated to blog, but I try to at least read student blogs and respond once in awhile to each one throughout the term.
I cannot even imagine the pain your little cousin has to suffer . . .
I lost touch with a friend from a long time ago in Chicago. When I tried to find him by email or Face book, all I found was someone younger by his same name who was arrested for shooting someone. I have no way of knowing if this was his son and/or if he was guilty or what happened. I will always wonder. Take the guns away!~
